Tallinn e-Governance Conference

The Estonian e-Governance Academy in cooperation with the City of Tallinn will organise the Tallinn e-Governance Conference Governance for Digital Citizens on 29-30 May 2018 in Tallinn.  The conference, that has been organised annually since 2014,  will be opened by the President of Estonia, H.E. Mrs Kersti Kaljulaid and will bring together public officials in charge of e-governance development, government and ICT decision makers, academics, donor organisations and businesses around the world.

The key goal of the conference is to help governments and local authorities develop their e-services in a user-friendly and future oriented way. The conference will provide a practical hands-on discussion and experience exchange as well as introduction to the success story of e-Estonia and e-Tallinn.

The City of Tallinn is hosting one of the parallel sessions of the conference on 29th May at 13:30 - 17:00 to introduce the e-services developed and provided by the city in more detail. We believe that is an excellent opportunity for our colleagues in our partner cities to share our good practice.

On 28 May at 13.30 – 17.00 a Pre-Conference Workshop on principles of implementation of e-governance, e-democracy and cyber security in Estonia will be held. Our guests are also invited to join the workshop, if travel schedule allows. The workshop is the quickest introduction into the topic in the context of Estonia.

More detailed information about the conference (programme, speakers etc) can be found on the website of the conference http://tallinnconference.ee/. We kindly ask to send feedback about your city’s participation by returning the registration form by 16 April at the latest. The working language of the conference is English.
