Tallinn was in top ten among mid-size European cities in terms of attractiveness for foreign investments in the ranking of European Cities of the Future 2016/2017, published by fDi Magazine, a publication of the Financial Times.

European Enterprise Awards

The European Enterprise Awards are a Europe-wide competition organised by the European Commission:
National round (organised by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications).
The Tallinn Enterprise Department participated in the European Enterprise Awards for two years in a row with the following submissions:

1) First prize in the cooperation and development programme for engineering, metallurgy, instrumentation and electronics enterprises and winner of the “Entrepreneurship Promoter 2007” award

2) “Mentoring Club” project – Tallinn Entrepreneurship Day nominated for the “Entrepreneurship Promoter 2006” award – “Entrepreneurship Pioneer” award

“INNOACT” project – Labour market activation through innovation – Recognition by the Estonian Ministry of Social Affairs and the Labour Market Board (a letter of gratitude from the Minister of Social Affairs, Jaak Aab, and from the Director General of the Labour Market Board, Tiina Ormisson)
