The project GoGreenRoutes is tied to the activities of several Tallinn executive agencies, however its main goal is to use nature-based solutions in the urban space. Urbanisation and climate change impact both our health and the health of the environment around us. Air pollution is one of the biggest environmental risks in cities, directly affecting the health of citizens.
The project aims towards a changed/better health behaviour in citizens and the alleviation of negative environmental impacts in cooperation with local communities through urban gardening (therapy and mind gardens).
The project's lead partner is Ireland, other participants are: Bulgaria, Georgia, Spain, Malta, France, Sweden, Germany and Finland.
The project duration is 1 September 2020 – 31 August 2024
