About Us

The preparations and implementation of international projects is coordinated by the Competence Centre of International Projects acting with the city's financial services. The goal of the competence centre is to increase the international project participation capacity of city offices and institutions governed by the city, and to strengthen the coordination of preparations and implementation of cross-sectoral projects important to the city.

Tallinn is home to many different European Union projects that are funded from the Cohesion Fund, the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and other EU programmes.

  • The city's public institutions are home to 121 projects funded by EU external funding as of 7 May 2020, the total cost of which is 94,544,481 euros (of which external funding is 77,608,954 euros and the city's own funding 16,935,526 euros).
