First-ever virtual Santa Claus Congress awaits big and small Christmas fans
On December 13, an extraordinary event is taking place in Saku Suurhall in Tallinn – a virtual Global Santa Claus Congress. The event is organised by the Estonian Santa Claus Union in cooperation with Santas from Finland and the US. Experienced virtual event organiser Global Virtual Solutions are in charge of the technical side of the event.
The organisers are expecting Santa Clauses from over a hundred different countries from Greenland to France and Global Virtual Solutions predicts that there will be thousands of Santas in attendance. The congress will be held virtually for the first time in history, and will take place on one of the largest stages ever built for virtual events.
However, the congress is not a closed event, meant only for Santa Clauses – all big and little fans of Christmas and Santa Claus can view the event and take part. The hour-long congress is completely free of charge and the programme entails many fun activities for children, who will get a rare chance to learn more about the culture and traditions of the different Santa Clauses around the world.
The programme includes greetings from Santa Clauses from Finland, the US, New Zealand, Australia, Russia and Japan, and an introduction of Christmas traditions from around the world. There will also be a musical performance from the Santa Claus band, and children will get an opportunity to sing Christmas songs with the Santas! Many more surprises are planned during the event.
The Virtual Santa Claus Congress will be broadcast live on the event’s website on December 13 at 17:00 EET (Eastern European Time, UTC +2). The website is also constantly updated with new info about the event.
