Day care services
1. Place in a kindergarten
The provision of day care services and pre-school education for children aged 1 to 7 in institutions belonging to the city and privately owned childcare institutions. For more information about the service click here.
In order to apply for a place in a kindergarten for their child, a parent needs to fill in an application using the child’s birth certificate and submit this application to the head of the chosen childcare institution personally or via e-mail. 2. Compensating for day care services
The aim of day care services is to support the working or coping of a parent, guardian or person employed in a family as a caregiver under a contract. The parent, guardian or caregiver needs to find a licensed service provider on their own. Compensation for day care services will be paid if the parent has ceased to receive the benefit granted by the Parental Benefit Act. The right to apply for compensation is terminated by the entering of the child to the list of a pre-school institution or school. The applicant of the compensation has the right to submit the application within three months after using day care services. For more information about the service click here.
3. Special needs children

The provision of spare time activities for disabled children during school holidays. The prevention of difficulties in coping of persons with intellectual and/or multiple disabilities and their families through meaningful activities.
