The restoration works of the Kadaka Road surface will be taking place the coming weekend, starting May 29 – if possible using the road should be avoided until 9 pm, 31 May.
On Friday morning, the final restoration phase of the Kadaka Road's section between Tähetorni and Mäepealse street will begin. The road will be fully opened for traffic in the evening of 31 May at 9 pm.
The entire width of the pavements will be restored at the excavation site in order to ensure the stability of the road structure. During the works, at least one direction of travel is constantly open and traffic controllers are working on-site. „From Friday morning to Sunday evening, the final restoration of road surfaces is planned, which will also lead to changes in traffic management during the works. We ask all road users to carefully follow the temporary traffic signs and the instructions of the regulators, and if possible to choose another route,“ noted Tarmo Rüütelmaa from Tallinn Transport Department.
According to Aleksandr Timofejev, the Production Director of Tallinna Vesi, the reconstructed sewerage pipeline now works smoothly again and is serving almost 100,000 people, as it has for decades. "We thank all the road users for their patience during the reconstruction works and for the good cooperation with the city of Tallinn in the rapid completion of the project."
