Sea party Sail Tallinn offers a spectacle both on land and at sea

At the end of this week, 16-18 July, the most magnificent Estonian sea party will take place in the Old City Harbour cruise area, Patarei sea fortress, Seaplane Harbour and the Noblessner seafront quarter, where artists from Estonia and the rest of the world will provide entertainment on land and at sea. Outdoor cafes, children's areas, a design street are open on the occasion and a sea taxi will provide transport from harbour to harbour.

In addition to many maritime activities, the big sea party Sail Tallinn offers an exciting stage program and brings together well-known Estonian musicians by the sea for three days.

The maritime celebrations program is traditionally focused on maritime activities - a total of 16 magnificent sailboats are waiting in the ports. For example, Gulden Leeuw from the Netherlands (67.5m in length), Kapitan Borchardt and Pogoria from Poland (41.92m and 47m in length) and many other sea beauties.

No need to worry about the lack of music at the sea party: in four ports almost 70 different bands and more than 200 musicians will perform on five stages in three days. Among others, Ewert and The Two Dragons, Smilers, Traffic, The Swingers, Regatt, Space Games, Gram-Of-Fun, Vaiko Eplik & Elite, Billions, Frankie Animal, Pluuto and Villemdrillem and others. Versatile musical entertainment is distributed in all ports and for all days, for young and old lovers of retro, pop and rap.

Regarding the Sail Tallinn event, the Baltic Regatta 2021, which will take place for the first time in Tallinn Bay, will start on Sunday, July 18 at 7 pm. The regatta is taking place in cooperation with Klaipeda and Szczecin, who, like Tallinn, were to host The Tall Ships Races fleet this year. All ships participating in the regatta are open to the public for free visit and exploration at Seaplane Harbour and the Noblessner seafront quarter during the Sail Tallinn sea party.

On the afternoon of July 18, the Baltic Regatta fleet will gather in the Gulf of Tallinn, where a magnificent sailing ship parade with guest ships will take place from 2 pm to 3 pm. Local sailboats, launches and other watercraft are also welcome to take part in the parade. The show can be enjoyed from the Old City Harbour cruise promenade, the roof of the City Hall, all the harbors of the city center and also Pirita Road.
